The locally sourced morning breakfast was fantastic and truly set up for the rest of the day.
I found it only slightly hard to find the hotel when arriving at night, which can be frustrating after a long journey. the layout of the room was a bit odd, and it took time to get accustomed to it. Unfortunately, I also found that there were limited dining options nearby, which made planning meals a bit challenging during our stay.

authentic, authentic, authentic
The first thing that struck me was the stunning view from our suite. it was a picturesque scene that felt like stepping into a painting. The delicious homemade breakfast really set the tone for the day, especially the locally sourced sausages which were perfect. I was also impressed by the engaging local art displayed throughout the manor. it beautifully reflects the culture of the area and adds a personal touch.
strongly recommend 😍💖

Spacious Suite with River View provided a relaxing stay. The only downside was the pull-out couch mattress. A lovely historic lodge!

Noise from other guests can be distracting!!! Weak shower pressure can really take away from the bathing experience!!! Limited nearby dining options left me wanting more!!!

Family with kids will love it
Hosts were really helpful and friendly they made everything as smooth as possible for us. My kids loved exploring the area and the honesty bar was a nice touch for late night snacks.
It wasn't exactly cheap but worth it considering the experience.

Staying at Plas Penaeldroch Manor felt like a cozy retreat. The suite offered stunning views of the river Lledr, truly a feast for the eyes. Mike and Carrie, the owners, went above and beyond. They welcomed us warmly and provided thorough insights about the area, making our stay feel personal. Breakfast was a real highlight—a fantastic spread of locally sourced options that fueled our adventures. Our kids loved the homemade marmalades, which really added a special touch. the barriers made the place look temporarily closed. there was a lack of dining options nearby, which could be challenging for those not planning to venture far. But overall, the comfortable suite and warm hospitality made our stay memorable.

Charming stop with a twist
Superb hospitality from the hosts made us feel right at home. The scenic views were just breath-taking! We grabbed some awesome packed lunches for our day out which helped a lot. Only wish the parking area was a tad bigger, could get tight during busy times.
